WSSRF is a 501©3 not-for-profit organization and is registered with the State of Illinois. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. All donated funds support WSSRA programs and scholarships.

Donations are accepted at any time. Checks should be made out to WSSRF and mailed to WSSRA, 2915 Maple, Franklin Park, IL 60131.

A donation to WSSRF in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to contribute to WSSRA. Funds from memorials are deposited in WSSRA’s Flo & Joe Murray Endowment Fund and become a perpetual tribute to the deceased. Memorials should be mailed to WSSRA. If you would like all memorial donations for a family member to be directed to WSSRA, please contact Sandy at 847-455-2100X236 for memorial cards to be used at the wake or memorial service.

In-kind donations are welcomed at any time. They will be used to raise funds for WSSRA as Derby Gala auction items or at special events as raffle prizes . Contact Sherry at 847/455-2100X225 to drop off your items. Pick up of any donations can be arranged.

The Flo & Joe Murray Fund for Special Recreation
The Flo & Joe Murray Fund for Special Recreation, named in honor of former WSSRA Executive Director Sandra Gbur’s parents, was created by the WSSRF to support the WSSRA mission. Through a partnership with the Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation an endowment fund has been created. This interest earning fund will annually pay that interest to WSSRF for many years to come. Please help support the WSSRA mission of enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through recreation programs.

You can help this fund grow by:

• Honoring the memory of a loved one by naming this fund to receive memorial donations
• Make a contribution and ask your employer if they will donate a matching contribution
• Consider a bequest in your will

Checks made out to WSSRF are tax deductible and can be mailed to WSSRA at 2915 Maple St, Franklin Park, IL 60131. WSSRA can provide donation envelopes to your family to have on hand if needed.
