WSSRA is Hiring! Inclusion Aide
WSSRA is looking for an Inclusion Aide to assist participants with disabilities who are taking part in park district and village recreation programs. The Inclusion Aide will help participants take part in activities, provide encouragement and support, and help ensure participants have a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience while participating in their community recreation programs. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with people with disabilities and enjoys helping others. Previous professional experience is not required. Experience can come from many different settings, including having a family member with a disability, babysitting or caring for someone with a disability, volunteering, working in a school or recreation setting, or other personal or professional experience. The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, friendly, and willing to learn. Most importantly, they should feel comfortable interacting with people with disabilities and be enthusiastic about helping participants be included and successful in their recreation programs.

WSSRA is Hiring! Participant Transportation Driver
WSSRA is looking for a reliable and responsible Participant Transportation Driver to transport our participants safely between their homes, schools, and program sites using WSSRA’s 14-passenger vans. The ideal candidate will have previous experience transporting people in a professional setting, such as bus driving, school bus driving, taxi driving, chauffeuring, shuttle driving, paratransit, or other passenger transportation roles. We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient, safety-minded, and comfortable working with individuals with disabilities. A friendly and positive attitude is essential, as our drivers play an important role in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for WSSRA participants. The position involves safely transporting participants to and from WSSRA programs, operating a 14-passenger van, assisting participants as needed when entering and exiting the vehicle, following designated routes and schedules, and providing friendly and professional customer service to participants and their families.
